SUBJECT:	Authorizing Representatives to Enter into Banking Transactions

The attached resolution formally authorizes Town of Chapel Hill personnel to execute appropriate documents to enter into banking transactions. 

BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION

The Town of Chapel Hill has staffing changes from time to time and it is required by banking institutions to provide a new resolution listing the personnel authorized to execute appropriate documents to enter into banking transactions.  The attached resolution provides authorization for the following for any or all of the Town’s bank accounts:

Roger L. Stancil	Town Manager
Florentine A. Miller	Deputy Town Manager
Bruce A. Heflin	Assistant Town Manager
Loris R. Colclough	Interim Finance Director
Jeanne D. Tate	Financial Reporting Manager

RECOMMENDATION

We recommend Council adoption of the attached resolution.
