A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SCHEMATIC DESIGN FOR THE CHAPEL HILL PUBLIC LIBRARY EXPANSION PROJECT AS PRESENTED TO THE LIBRARY BUILDING COMMITTEE ON SEPTEMBER 6, 2007, AND AUTHORIZING THE TOWN’S DESIGN CONSULTANTS TO PROCEED WITH DESIGN DEVELOPMENT PLANS (2007-09-24/R-9)

WHEREAS, the Council appointed the Library Building Committee to select an architect for the Library Expansion project and work with the architect through the schematic design process; and

WHEREAS, the Library Building Committee has reviewed and approved a Schematic Design for the Library Expansion project; and

WHEREAS, the Library Building Committee has recommended that the Council approve the Schematic Design and authorize the Town’s design consultants to proceed with Design Development plans;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council approves the Schematic Design for the Chapel Hill Public Library Expansion project as presented to the Library Building Committee on September 6, 2007, and authorizes the Town’s design consultants to proceed with Design Development plans.
