SUBJECT:	Parks and Recreation Impact Fee
DATE:	October 8, 2007

The Town continues to see development in the form of infill.  The Town has an interest in evaluating how this continued development is impacting the Town’s parks and recreational needs.  It is my understanding that the Town has the authority to levy a parks and recreation impact fee. 

I request that the Council direct the Town Manager to advise the Council on how to implement a parks and recreation impact fee.
