Budget Amendment for the FY 2007-2008 Transportation Planning Grant (Surface Transportation Direct Allocation Program) |
date: |
October 8, 2007 |
The attached budget amendment would increase the budget of the FY 2007-2008 PL grant program by $50,000.
The Town of Chapel Hill has received funding from the Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Surface Transportation Program Direct Allocation Program to fund transportation demand management activities. The Town has been allocated $40,000 in federal funds, which requires a $10,000 local match. These funds will be used to allow staff to maintain and expand the Town’s ongoing transportation management program in coordination with regional transportation demand management activities.
