AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 21 OF THE TOWN CODE OF ORDINANCES REGARDING SPEED REGULATIONS (2007-10-08/O-1)

BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill as follows:

Section 1.  Section 21-11 (A) (3) of the Town Code of Ordinances, “Speed regulations, Thirty-five miles per hour.” is hereby amended by deleting the following:

            “(n) Piney Mountain Road”

Section 2.  Section 21-11 (A) (3) of the Town Code of Ordinances, “Speed regulations, Thirty-five miles per hour.” is hereby amended by adding the following in alphabetical order:

“(n) Piney Mountain Road from Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard to Summerlin Drive”

Section 3.  Section 21-11 (B) (3) of the Town Code of Ordinances, “Speed regulations, Twenty -five miles per hour.” is hereby amended by adding the following in alphabetical order:

“Piney Mountain Road from to Summerlin Drive to its end”

Section 3.  This ordinance shall become effective October 29, 2007.
