On October 23, 2007, the Orange County Board of Commissioners created the Land Trust Affordable Housing Maintenance Task Force (see attached agenda item). Orange County has requested that each governing body appoint one member.
In addition, each governing body shall also appoint an at-large member with considerable knowledge of the Orange Community Housing and Land Trust (OCHLT) and/or affordable housing development in Orange County. This task force was just created; therefore there has been no advertising for applicants. We will come back at a later date for the Council to make the at-large appointment.
Tonight, we recommend that the Council adopt a resolution appointing one member to the Orange County Land Trust Affordable Housing Maintenance Task Force.
