SUMMARY OF TRANSPORTATION BOARD ACTION

Subject:                       Chapel Hill Library - Special Use Permit Modification

Meeting Date:            October 25, 2007

Recommendation:      That the Council approves the Chapel Hill Library Special Use Permit Modification, with the adoption of Resolution A, as attached to the addendum staff report dated October 16, 2007 with the following conditions:

1. Replacing deleted parking spaces on Library Drive: That the number of parking spaces eliminated along Library Drive, as a result of converting the proposed perpendicular parking to the recommended angled parking, may be off-set with compact parking spaces in the existing or new parking areas.

Vote:                     5-0

Ayes:    Rudy Juliano, Kathryn Carder, Mirta Mihovilovic, Matt Scheer and Augustus Cho.
