A RESOLUTION SCHEDULING A PUBLIC HEARING TO RECEIVE COMMENT ON THE PROPOSED ADMENDMENTS TO ARTICLE XIX OF CHAPTER 11 CONCERNING TOWING FROM PRIVATE LOTS. (2008-01-14/R-5)

WHEREAS, the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill has received a report from the Manager and the Police Department identifying the possible Town Code amendments regarding towing from private lots; and

WHEREAS, the Council wishes to hear public comment prior to considering the possible enactment of such amendments.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council calls a public hearing for February 11, 2008, to receive public comment on the proposed amendments.
