PURPOSE
Tonight, the Council holds a Public Hearing regarding a request from Andrew Greene for approval of a preliminary plat for a 4-lot subdivision on property situated on the east side of Smith Level Road and south of Dogwood Acres, outside the Town’s Urban Services Boundary.
The Public Hearing for the Estates at Oxford Subdivision has been scheduled to receive evidence in support of and in opposition to approval of the application, as the Council determines the appropriate requirements to include as conditions of approval with the adoption of Resolution A. The purpose of this cover memorandum is to forward my preliminary recommendation to the Council.
MANAGER’S PRELIMINARY RECOMMENDATION
I have reviewed and discussed the key issues with Town staff. Based on the information in the record to date I believe the Council could make the findings required to approve an application for a preliminary plat. Further evidence concerning this application may be submitted at tonight’s Public Hearing.
