A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE USE OF $2,000 IN AVAILABLE FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE WORK OF THE SPECIAL TRANSIT ADVISORY COMMITTEE (2008-02-11/R-4)

WHEREAS, the Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Metropolitan Planning Organization has provided funding to support the work of the Special Transit Advisory Committee; and

WHEREAS, the Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Transportation Advisory Committee has requested the Town of Chapel Hill provide $2,000 as part of the local match required for the use of federal transportation planning funds.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council authorizes the use of $2,000 in available funds to support the work of the Special Transit Advisory Committee.
