A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO PROVIDE STAFF SUPPORT AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THE CHAPEL HILL GARDEN CLUB IN SUPPORT OF THE SPRING GARDEN TOUR (2008-02-11/R-9)

WHEREAS, the Chapel Hill Garden Club is conducting a tour of private gardens and the North Carolina Botanical Garden; and

WHEREAS, the tour will provide educational benefits to the community concerning environmentally good practices and water management; and

WHEREAS, the goals of the tour are consistent with the goals of the Town Council;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council authorizes the Town Manager to provide staff support and financial support up to $800 to the Garden Club for its tour.
