PURPOSE
Tonight, the Council continues the January 28, 2008 public hearing regarding an application from Andrew Greene for approval of a 4-lot subdivision, Estates at Oxford, on property situated on the east side of Smith Level Road and south of Dogwood Acres, outside the Town’s Urban Services Boundary.
The public hearing has been continued to receive evidence in support of and in opposition to approval of the application, as the Council determines the appropriate requirements to include as conditions of approval. The purpose of this cover memorandum is to forward my revised recommendation to the Council.
MANAGER’S REVISED RECOMMENDATION
I have reviewed and discussed the key issues with Town staff. Based on the information in the record to date I believe, with the adoption of Resolution A, the Council could make the findings required to approve an application for a preliminary plat. Further evidence concerning this application may be submitted at tonight’s Public Hearing.
