The Sustainability, Energy and Environment (SEE) Council Committee met at their regular monthly meeting on Friday, February 15, 2008 to discuss possible recommendations for the Sustainability Committee. Taking into account the Council’s desired charge and composition of the Town Sustainability Committee, the SEE Committee reviewed the entire pool of applicants to date with consideration towards the nominee’s appreciation of the interdependency between each aspect of sustainability (social equity, economic vitality, environmental integrity) as well as a combined evaluation of each applicant’s self-expressed levels of expertise and their noted interest in the three focus areas (shown in the table below). In light of these criteria, the SEE Committee makes the following nine recommendations for the Council’s consideration.
