Subject:

South Grove Planned Development-Housing Special Use Permit

Meeting Date:

February 19, 2008

Recommendation:

That the Council adopt Resolution A, as attached to the Staff Report, approving the Special Use Permit with the following conditions:

  • That Stipulation #22 (Landscape Bufferyard)  be revised to clarify that any alternative buffer shall be reviewed for approval by the Community Design Commission prior to issuance of a Zoning Compliance Permit
  • That the approval include the applicant’s recently proposed changes to the recreation space improvements, including  conversion of the basketball court to a multipurpose court; and the addition of an athletic field, swing set, two benches, walking paths to connect the various improvements.
  • That the approval include the applicant’s recent offer to accept a stipulation requiring fire protection sprinklers in each new home.
