Subject:	South Grove Planned Development –Housing Special Use Permit Application
Meeting Date:	February 20, 2008
Recommendation A:	That the Council adopt Resolution A included in the February 20, 2008 Staff Report with the following stipulation:
Vote:	8 – 0
	Ayes:   Mary Margaret Carroll, George Cianciolo, Chris Culbreth, Kathryn James, Laura K. Moore, Scott Nilsen, Amy Ryan, and Robin Whitsell
Recommendation B:	That a stipulation be included in Resolution A requiring Community Design Commission approval of an Alternative Buffer and Building Elevation and Lighting Plan approval of any structure located within the Alternative Buffer, including the gazebo and entrance wall. That the modification to the regulations exempting the applicant from Community Design Commission approval for Building Elevations and Lighting Plan for the 26 single-family homes and individual driveway lighting at the internal street be adopted.
Vote:	8 - 0
Issue:	The Commission recommended that the applicant maintain a rural appearance to the development and use natural materials, especially along Hwy. NC 15-501.
