Dear Mayor Foy and Chapel Hill Town Council members:

 

In light of the awful tragedy that has deeply affected the town of Chapel Hill and the entire UNC community, I realize that discussing a building project seems rather secondary at this moment.  I do hope, however, that you will join me in supporting the Wesley development project at your March 10, 2008 meeting.  This is an excellent opportunity for the Town Council to demonstrate its support for UNC students by renewing Wesley to serve the campus for the next 50 years.
