Work for Council Candidates

Town Funding Grant                             $ 2250 (reduced due to excess qualifying contributions; or excess qualifying contributions are paid to the Fund)

(As these examples demonstrate, the full Town Grant is available once a candidate qualifies by raising the minimum contributions from at least the requisite 75 contributors.  However, the Town Grant would be reduced if excess private contributions were collected.)

Example of How Rescue Fund Would Work for Council Candidates

The maximum permitted to be spent by participating candidate is $6000. If a non-participating council candidate spends 140 percent of maximum allowed for participating candidate, or $8400, each participating candidate would receive an additional $2000.
