ORDINANCE
(Rezoning to R-HD3-C zoning)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CHAPEL HILL ZONING ATLAS FOR THE RESIDENCES AT GROVE PARK DEVELOPMENT (Orange County Parcel Identifier Numbers 9788-49-4924, and portions of 9788-49-1706, 9788-39-4841, and 9788-39-4857)
WHEREAS, the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill has considered the application of Ram Development Company, to amend the Zoning Atlas to rezone property described below from Residential-4 (R-4) and Residential-6 (R-6) to Residential- Higher Density 3-Conditional (R-HD3-C), and finds that the amendment is warranted, in order to achieve the purposes of the Comprehensive Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Chapel Hill Zoning Atlas be amended as follows:
That the site, identified as now or formerly as Orange County Parcel Identifier Number 9788-49-4924 and a portion of 9788-49-1706, that are currently zoned Residential-4 (R-4) located along Hillsborough Street shall be rezoned to Residential-Higher Density3-Conditional. The description of the property to be rezoned is as indicated on the attached metes and bounds rezoning map [368 KB pdf]. The rezoning also includes one half of the abutting rights-of-way of Hillsborough Street.
SECTION II
That the site, identified as now or formerly as portions of Orange County Parcel Identifier Numbers 9788-49-1706, 9788-39-4857, and 9788-39-4841 that are currently zoned Residential-6 (R-6) located along Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. shall be rezoned to Residential-Higher Density3-Conditional. The description of the property to be rezoned is as indicated on the attached metes and bounds rezoning map [368 KB pdf]. The rezoning also includes one half of the abutting right-of-way of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
SECTION III
That all ordinances and portions of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
