SUMMARY OF PLANNING BOARD ACTION

 

Subject:

Residences at Grove Park Special Use Permit

Meeting Date:

March 18, 2008

Recommendations:

That the Council adopt Revised Resolution A included as Attachment 1 to March 18, 2008 Memorandum, with revisions to the following stipulations:

 

  1. That stipulation #2 to read 520 vehicular parking spaces rather than 580.
  2. That a 6-foot fence be constructed along the southern property line with the location to be approved by the Town Manager. That the maintenance of the fence be done by the Homeowners Association in perpetuity.
  3. That the traffic study be re-evaluated for traffic impacts.

6 – 1

 

Ayes: George Cianciolo, John Ager, Michael Collins, MichaelGerhardt, James Stroud, and Judith Weseman

 

Nay: Andrea Rohrbacher

 

Reason for Dissenting vote: 1. This is a precedent-setting, transit-oriented development and therefore additional restrictions on parking amounts should be placed on the development and 2. Traffic Impacts as a result of the development should be re-evaluated.
