A RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR A Regenerative Air street sweeper to Public works equipment and supply, INC. (2008-04-28/R-7)

WHEREAS, the Town of Chapel Hill solicited formal bids by legal notice published on the Town’s web site February 27, 2008, in accordance with G.S. 143-129 for the purchase of a regenerative air street sweeper; and

WHEREAS, the only responsive bid was submitted by Public Works Equipment and Supply, Inc. at the bid price of $157,615;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill awards the bid for a Elgin Crosswind J-Plus Street Sweeper to Public Works Equipment and Supply, Inc. in the amount of $157,615.
