A RESOLUTION TO INVITE THE RESIDENTS OF THE GLEN LENNOX AREA TO DEMONSTRATE WITH A PETITION THAT 51% OF PROPERTY OWNERS SEEK TO INITIATE PHASE ONE OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD CONSERVATION DISTRICT PROCESS FOR THE GLEN LENNOX AREA NEIGHBORHOOD (2008-04-28/R-9)

BE IT RESOLVED that the Council has considered a citizen petition of March 17, 2008, to designate the Glen Lennox neighborhood as a Neighborhood Conservation District and determined that in order to measure neighborhood support for the initiation of the Neighborhood Conservation District process, a petition should be submitted by the residents of the area identifying the proposed district boundaries and demonstrating that 51% of the property owners within the proposed boundary seek to initiate Phase One of the Neighborhood Conservation District.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the boundary of the proposed Neighborhood Conservation District would include the area inside Rogerson Road on the east, Cleland Road on the north, Hayes Road on the west, and NC 54 on the south.
