PURPOSE
Tonight, the Council continues the April 28, 2008 public hearing [/agendas/2008/04/28/10/] regarding an application from Oldham Associates for approval of a 26-lot Planned Development-Housing on property situated on the east side of U.S. Highway 15-501, south of the Southern Community Park and outside the Town’s Urban Services Boundary.
The public hearing has been continued to receive evidence in support of and in opposition to approval of the application, as the Council determines the appropriate action on the application. The purpose of this cover memorandum is to forward my revised recommendation to the Council.
MANAGER’S REVISED RECOMMENDATION
I have reviewed and discussed the key issues with Town staff. Based on the information in the record to date I believe, with the adoption of Revised Resolution A, the Council could make the findings required to approve an application for a Special Use Permit. Further evidence concerning this application may be submitted at tonight’s Public Hearing.
Resolution A has been revised since the April 28 public hearing to reflect comments received.
