A RESOLUTION ENDORSING REAFFIRMATION OF THE PROPOSED INTERIM ORANGE COUNTY SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN THREE YEAR UPDATE (2008-05-19/R-7)

WHEREAS, the Town Council has received and reviewed the proposed Orange County Interim Solid Waste Management Plan Three-Year Update; and

WHEREAS, the Town Council wishes to have further discussions and input in the proposed Orange County Solid Waste Management Plan Three-Year Update; and

WHEREAS, the Town Council desires to be compliant with State regulations as they relate to Solid Waste Management;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council supports the Orange County Board of County Commissioners proposal to proceed with the development and submittal of the interim Solid Waste Management Plan.
