A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF UP TO 9 FORTY-FOOT DIESEL LOW-FLOOR BUSES (2008-06-09/R-6)

WHEREAS, the Town of Chapel Hill has received bids by legal notice on October 9, 2006 in accordance with G.S. 143-129 for the purchase and delivery of buses, and

WHEREAS, the Council authorized the award of additional buses over a 5-year period from this same contract on October 9, 2006;

Manufacturer	Base Award
Gillig Corporation	$324,573 ea.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that up to 9 forty-foot diesel low-floor buses be approved for purchase from the Gillig Corporation.
