A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A LEGISLATIVE POSITION REGARDING HOUSE BILL 2363 AND SENATE BILL 1894 (2008-06-25/R-20)

WHEREAS, the Town of Chapel Hill provides public transit service to the community; and

WHEREAS, the Town of Chapel Hill relies on funding from both State and federal Departments of Transportation to support operations; and

WHEREAS, House Bill 2363 and Senate Bill 1894 have the potential to impact funding for public transportation.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the attached legislative positions be adopted.
