A RESOLUTION TO REFER A PETITION TO THE COUNCIL COMMITTEE ON AFFORDABLE HOUSING (2008-06-25/R-9)

WHEREAS, on May 5, 2008, a Council Member petitioned the Council to consider revising the Council’s March 6, 2000 resolution regarding the provision of affordable housing with rezoning requests with a residential component; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council refers this petition to the Council Committee on Affordable Housing for its consideration.

THEREFORE ALSO BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of the Chapel Hill that the Council refers the comments made by Doug Schworer during the June 25th Council discussion of the above petition, as well as the comments to be emailed by Doug Schworer to the Council, to the Council Committee on Affordable Housing for its consideration.
