Title of Agenda Item: Budget Ordinance Amendment to Transfer Funds from Parks and Recreation to Communications and Public Affairs
Background: The attached staff memorandum includes background information on a proposed budget ordinance amendment to transfer $15,000 from the Parks and Recreation budget to Communications and Public Affairs. These funds will be used to expand the current 20-hour per week contract Graphic Artist position, to a 30-hour per week regular part-time position. The expanded position will help in the development of the new Town website and provide marketing assistance to the Parks and Recreation Department.
Staff Recommendation(s): That the Council adopt the attached ordinance.
