Background:  The attached staff memorandum includes background information on the 2006-2007 Sidewalk Construction Program and proposes a process and schedule for developing the 2008-2009 Construction Program. The attached memorandum would set a public forum on the Sidewalk Construction Program for October 13, 2008.

Staff Recommendation(s):  That the Council adopt a resolution calling a public forum on the sidewalk Construction Program for October 13, 2008.
