A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC FORUM ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF A SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION PROGRAM (2008-09-08/R-9)

WHEREAS, the Town of Chapel Hill undertakes the construction of sidewalks throughout the community using local, State and federal funds; and

WHEREAS, the Town of Chapel Hill has adopted a sidewalk construction program that identifies construction projects to be undertaken with available funding; and

WHEREAS the Town of Chapel Hill seeks public comment on sidewalk construction priorities to be used in the development of the 2008-2009 Sidewalk Construction Program;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council schedules a public forum on the 2008-2009 Sidewalk Construction Program at 7:00pm on October 13, 2008 in the Council Chambers, 405 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
