Title of Agenda Item:  Report from the Mayor’s Committee on the Wallace Parking Deck

Background:  The attached memorandum includes background information on a report from the Mayor’s committee on the Wallace Parking Deck and suggests that the Council initiate discussion within Town Council concerning the desire of Kidzu Children’s Museum to build a new museum building on top of the parking structure.

Recommendation(s):  That the Council authorize [by resolution (2008-09-08/R-9.1)] the Town Manager to draft a non-binding letter of intent and good faith stating the Town’s intent to provide the Plaza Level of the Wallace Parking Deck for Kidzu’s expansion needs.
