Background:  The attached staff memorandum responds to questions and issues raised at the September 8, 2008 Council public forum on the Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Metropolitan Planning Organization (DCHC MPO) 2035 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) land use and transportation network alternatives analysis.

Staff Recommendation(s):  That the Council consider the attached staff report from the Public Forum held on September 8, 2008 and the resolution and recommendations for the development of the 2035 Long Range Transportation Plan Preferred Alternative.
