SUBJECT:      Resolution to Amend the Council Calendar

DATE:            September 22, 2008

The purpose of this memorandum is to recommend that the Council amend its meeting calendar. Adoption of the attached resolution would do so.

The Council currently has a business meeting scheduled for Monday, October 13, that conflicts with the NC League of Municipalities’ annual conference October 12 through 14. We are requesting that the meeting be rescheduled for Wednesday, October 15.

Adoption of the attached resolution would amend the Council’s calendar to reflect the requested change.
