A RESOLUTION SETTING A DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTAL OF APPLICATIONS FOR A VACANT SEAT ON THE CHAPEL HILL TOWN COUNCIL AND INVITING APPLICANTS TO ATTEND A SPECIAL TOWN COUNCIL MEETING ON NOVEMBER 3, 2008 (2008-10-15/R-20)

BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town Of Chapel Hill that the Council sets October 31, 2008 as the deadline for filing applications by persons seeking to be appointed to the vacant seat on the Chapel Hill Town Council.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that applicants for the vacant seat are invited to attend a Special Town Council meeting on November 3 and to make brief remarks regarding their interest in serving on the Town Council.
