Title of Agenda Item: Ordinance Repeal and Amendments
Background: Several ordinances have remained in the Town of Chapel Hill Code despite changes in United States constitutional law, which has rendered these ordinances unconstitutional and therefore unenforceable. The purpose of this proposal is to request that the Town Council repeal unconstitutional ordinances and conform other ordinances to state law.
Staff Recommendation(s): That the Council enact the proposed ordinance amendments and repeals.
