A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MANAGER TO EXECUTE A DEED OF EASEMENT THAT WOULD GRANT TO OWASA A SEWER EASEMENT REQUIRED FOR THE MORGAN CREEK TRAIL PROJECT (2008-10-27/R-7)

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MANAGER TO EXECUTE A DEED OF EASEMENT THAT WOULD GRANT TO OWASA A SEWER EASEMENT REQUIRED FOR THE MORGAN CREEK TRAIL PROJECT (2008-10-27/R-7)

WHEREAS, the required location of a bridge needed to access the Merritt Pasture conflicts with an existing OWASA sewer line; and

WHEREAS, the Town desires to provide access to the Merritt Pasture as part of the Town’s Morgan Creek Trail project; and

WHEREAS, it would be necessary to move the OWASA sewer line and easement in order to provide access to the Merritt Pasture;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council authorizes the Manager to execute a deed of easement that would grant to OWASA an approximately 30 foot by 120 foot sewer easement needed for the Morgan Creek Trail project.
