Mr. Poveromo:

Please be advised that the applicant, Ram Development Company, is requesting a continuance of the hearings for the Rezoning and SUP approval for the above referenced project until the November 10^th, 2008 public hearing.  The reason for the continuance is that we are close to working out a resolution to the Protest Petition filed in conjunction with the rezoning application and feel we will be able to resolve the matter prior to the November 10, 2008 hearing. 

Ram Development Company would prefer that the Text Amendment continued to be heard on October 27^th, 2008 as planned.  It is my understanding that the Council will vote this evening to continue the Special Use Permit until the October 27^th hearing.  Our preference would be to amend tonight’s vote to reflect our above request for continuance of the Rezoning and SUP to November 10^th.
