A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF UP TO 7 FORTY-FOOT HYBRID ELECTRIC LOW-FLOOR BUSES (2008-11-10/R-2) 

WHEREAS, the Town of Chapel Hill has received bids by legal notice on September 21, 2006 in accordance with G.S. 143-129 for the purchase and delivery of buses, and

WHEREAS, the Council authorized the award of additional buses over a 5-year period from this same contract on October 9, 2006;

Gillig Corporation	$535,111 ea.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that up to 7 forty-foot hybrid electric low-floor buses be approved for purchase from the Gillig Corporation.
