A RESOLUTION SCHEDULING PUBLIC HEARINGS TO AMEND THE LAND
USE MANAGEMENT ORDINANCE (2008-12-08-R-9)
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council hereby schedules:
- a Public Hearing for January 21, 2009, for the purpose of considering
amending Chapel Hill’s Land Use Management Ordinance provisions regarding chicken
keeping;
- a Public Hearing for January 26, 2009, for the purposes of receiving
a report on options for implementing recreation space payments-in-lieu and of considering
typographical and formatting corrections to the Chapel Hill’s Land Use
Management Ordinance provisions regarding the Use Matrix, gravel as impervious
surface, and signs;
- a Public Hearing for February 16, 2009 for the purpose of
considering amending Chapel Hill’s Land Use Management Ordinance provisions to provide
more control regarding demolition in the Historic Districts; and
- a Public Hearing for March 16, 2009 for the purpose of
considering amending Chapel Hill’s Land Use Management Ordinance provisions regarding
and Dark Skies Lighting.
