Title of Agenda Item: Reclassification of the Transit Project Coordinator position to a GIS Technician, Senior – Transit.
Background: The attached staff memorandum includes background information on the reclassification of the Project Coordinator in the Transit Department to GIS Technician, Senior.
Fiscal Note: This reclassification will result in a downgrade of the Project Coordinator position and will reduce the current year’s operating budget.
Staff Recommendation(s): That the Council enact the attached Personnel Ordinance dated October 1, 2008, be hereby amended effective January 26, 2009.
