Title of Agenda Item: Authorization to Contract with an Artist for the Community Center Park Wall Art Project
Background: The attached staff memorandum includes background information on the process for selecting an artist for the Community Center Park Wall art project.
Fiscal Note: Project funds have been encumbered from the following: $25,000 from the current fiscal year small parks improvement budget and $22,600 from the 2007-08 Community Center Capital Renovation budget in accordance with Percent for Art Ordinance. The artist contract amount will be $45,000. The remaining $2,600 will be for site preparation and construction costs.
Staff Recommendation(s): That the Council adopt the resolution to authorize the Town Manager to contract with the selected artist for the Community Center Park Wall project.
