Title of Agenda Item: Transportation Demand Management Grant and Budget Amendment
Background: In the spring of 2008 the Town was awarded $48,938 in Transportation Demand Management funds. The funding is for fiscal year July 1, 2008 – June 30, 2009.
Fiscal Note: Undertaking the activities related to the Transportation Demand Management Grant require the Town to expend funds for the required 50% match. The match is to come from a combination of the Active Living by Design Grant, current year transit operating funds, and general funds.
Staff Recommendation(s): That the Council enact the attached Budget Ordinance accepting the Transportation Demand Management Grant funds.
