Title of Agenda Item: Sustainable Community Visioning Task Force
Background: The attached memorandum includes a recommendation from the Mayor’s Strategic Planning Committee.
Fiscal Note: The Committee recommends that the Council consider hiring a professional outside consultant to facilitate and staff the Task Force’s work. Town staff resources may also be needed to consult and collaborate with the consultant’s work. At this point there is insufficient information to approximate costs for these services because the Committee has not received any proposals based on the scope of work. However, the Council will have the opportunity to approve and allocate resources after the Committee completes the process for searching for an outside consultant.
Committee’s Recommendation(s): That the Council consider the recommendations of the Mayor’s Strategic Planning Committee.
