A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE e-NC AUTHORITY GRANT AWARD (2009-03-09/R-4)

WHEREAS, the Town of Chapel Hill submitted an application to the competitive Public, Education or Government (PEG) Access Channels and the Capital Expenditure Grant Program on behalf of The Peoples Channel; and

WHEREAS, the Town of Chapel Hill on behalf of The Peoples Channel has been awarded a grant in the amount of $24,991.20 to fund the new video equipment that was requested; and

WHEREAS, The Peoples Channel will provide the required matching funds from their portion of the Supplementary PEG Fees distributed by the State; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council accepts the grant award in the amount of $24,991.20.
