A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A GRANT OF $2,000 FROM THE NATIONAL RECREATION AND PARK ASSOCIATION AND USA FOOTBALL (2009-03-09/R-5)

WHEREAS, the Town of Chapel Hill’s Parks and Recreation Department operates a youth football program; and

WHEREAS, the National Recreation and Park Association and USA Football has awarded a grant in the amount of $2,000 for the Town’s football program;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council accepts a $2,000 grant awarded by the National Recreation and Park Association and USA Football.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Town Council that the Council expresses its gratitude to the National Recreation and Park Association and USA Football.
