Title of Agenda Item: Rogers Road Small Area Plan Task Force Final Report
Background: The Rogers Road Task Force was formed by the Town Council in December, 2006. The Task Force was directed to address issues related to land use, water and sewer extension, transportation facilities and services.
Fiscal Note: The Report provides recommendations regarding implementation plans for extending various services, including water and sewer facilities into the Rogers Road area. The implementation of the Report recommendations would require allocation of additional staff time and Town resources.
Recommendation(s): That the Council receives the Rogers Road Small Area Plan Final Report and refers it to the Manager and Attorney, Town advisory boards, Town of Carrboro, Orange County, OWASA and the Chapel Hill – Carrboro City Schools for review and comment.
