WHEREAS, on December 4, 2006, the Town Council created the Rogers Road Small Area Plan Task Force; and
WHEREAS, the Council charged the Task Force with preparing recommendations with regard to desirable land uses, revisions to the Chapel Hill Land Use Plan, water and sewer extension, and transportation improvements; and
WHEREAS, the Rogers Road Small Area Plan Task Force has completed their work and submitted to the Council a Final Report.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council receives and refers the Final Report of Rogers Road Small Area Plan Task Force to the Planning Board, the Transportation Board, the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board, and the Town Manager and Attorney for review and comment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council also receives and refers the final report of Rogers Road Small Area Plan Task Force to the Town of Carrboro, Orange County, OWASA, and the Chapel Hill – Carrboro City Schools for review and comment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council expresses its appreciation to the Rogers Road Small Area Plan Task Force members for their dedication and effort put into this Final Report, completing the charge of the Task Force.
