Title of Agenda Item: Transportation Demand Management Grant for FY 2009 - 2010
Background: In the Spring of 2008 the Town was awarded a Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Grant. The Town has applied for the TDM grant for fiscal year July 1, 2009 – June 30, 2010.
Fiscal Note: Undertaking the activities related to the TDM grant will require the Town to provide local funds for the required 50% match. The match is to come from a combination of general funds and current year transit operating funds. We will also utilize the Active Living by Design Sustainability grant for the match to non-salary expenses.
Staff Recommendation(s): That the Council adopt the Resolution supporting the Transportation Demand Management grant application.
