A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN EXTENSION TO THE CONCESSION AGREEMENT WITH ALOHA II INC. FOR OPERATION OF THE SKATE PARK AND BATTING CAGE FACILITIES AT HOMESTEAD PARK (2009-04-15/R-4)

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN EXTENSION TO THE CONCESSION AGREEMENT WITH ALOHA II INC. FOR OPERATION OF THE SKATE PARK AND BATTING CAGE FACILITIES AT HOMESTEAD PARK (2009-04-15/R-4)

WHEREAS, Aloha II Inc. currently operates a skate park and batting cage owned by the Town of Chapel Hill; and

WHEREAS, the Town desires that the services of the skate park and batting cage continue to be offered to the citizens of Chapel Hill; and

WHEREAS, Aloha II Inc. has successfully operated the facilities for the past three years in a professional and responsible manner;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council authorizes the Manager to execute a one year concession extension agreement, with options for two one-year extensions, with Aloha II Inc. or its successors in interest, for operation of the Chapel Hill Skate Park and Batting cages, said agreement containing conditions substantially similar as the existing agreement.
