Title of Agenda Item: Adjustment to Public Hearing Schedule for a Pending Text Amendment to the Land Use Management Ordinance Regarding Demolition of Historic Structures
Background: The attached staff memorandum includes background information on a proposal to adjust the public hearing schedule for a pending text amendment to the Land Use Management Ordinance regarding demolition of historic structures. The proposed adjustment to the schedule would move the public hearing date from April 20, 2009 to October 19, 2009.
Staff Recommendation(s): We recommend that the Council adopt the attached resolution which would schedule a public hearing for October 19, 2009 to consider a Land Use Management Ordinance text amendment to regulate the demolition of historic structures.
