Title of Agenda Item: Budget Amendment for Collection Development Project
Background: The attached staff memorandum includes background information on the library’s multi-year collection development project. It also requests a transfer of $61,000 in Library Foundation gift funds from the Town’s library gift fund to continue funding the project.
Fiscal Note: The $305,000 project is funded by the Library Foundation ($250,000) and from library gift funds ($55,000). To date, the Town has received $98,000 from the Foundation toward the project.
Staff Recommendation: That the Council enact the attached ordinance amending the 2008-2009 library budget.
